Been a while again! Not going to say what i said about posting again, just read the previous post for that, anyways onto the topic i wanted to quickly talk about.
I hate social media and i can't stop using it.
The experience of being on social media has gotten so much worse for me over the years, when i first started using the internet at like 12, using social media still felt fine, it had it's problems but i was too young at the time to notice them, but now being able to see all the problems it had and the new ones it gained has been
The amount of power these platforms have over our society, culture and/or individuals is too much! For example someone could tweet something stupid about the economy on twitter and that actually ends up making the stock market go
Outside of the usual examples of why social media sucks, the rise of Artificial Intelligence has made things so much worse, trying to avoid AI has been such a fucking nightmare! They keep putting them on fucking EVERYTHING!!!! AI COULD BE COOL AND GOOD BUT ALL THE CURRENT ONES OUT THERE WERE MADE BY STEALING EVERYTHING THEY COULD GET THEIR HANDS ON! HAVE YOU EVER POSTED SOMETHING ONLINE? WELL THAT'S IN THE AI NOW! HELL THEY HAVE EVEN RUN OUT OF THINGS TO TRAIN THE AIS WITH EVEN AFTER STEALING LITERALLY EVERYTHING IN THE INTERNET!!! I HOPE SOMETHING IS DONE ABOUT THE AMOUNT OF WORK THEY HAVE STOLEN BUT WITH HOW POLITICS HAVE BEEN GOING GLOBALLY, I DOUBT THAT WILL HAPPEN ANY TIME SOON!

Well that sure was me screaming about something, anyways thanks for reading another one of my rants that exists purely for me to let some anger out so that i don't explode, i wish i had something constructive to say about the topic outside of just screaming but i really don't have anything that wouldn't just be me repeating something i heard somewhere else.
