Hello there!
Steam Next Fest started yesterday so since i always download like 10+ demos when its around i thought about writing down a list of a few of the ones i have tried and some quick thoughts about them, not full reviews or anything because i suck at writing those and i don't want to write something like that for a demo of a game that is not even out yet.
Anyways here is the list:
- Knightica
Cool autobattler, trying to combo enough scaling to be able to win is cool but may get boring due to the small unit variety, probably only a problem for the demo though.
- PROJEKT GODHAND
I love destroying my keyboard! Even though the concept for this game should mean its easier than other rhythm games, i still suck at it anyways.
- Gnomes
Easy to learn tower defense, kinda hard though.
- Aethermancer
New game from the guys who made Monster Sanctuary, pretty fun but the demo doesn't have enough creatures to be replayable imo.
- Nomad Idle
NUMBER GO UP!
- The King is Watching
Interesting concept, not for me though.
- Shape of Dreams
They put League of Legends in my roguelike.
- Kaya's Prophecy
It's like Stacklands but exploration and combat are slay the spire, overall i think that makes the game worse.
- Metro Gravity
3D Metroidvania with gravity based puzzles and rhythm stuff, it has gravity in the name but rhythm is equally if not more important.
The dev has a devlog for the game on youtube btw! - Raid Auctus
WoW raid simulator, it's as boring as it sounds, it has numbers going up tho.
- Everwayne
Seems like a interesting take on the slay the spire style card games but the demo is too short.
- Graphite
Awesome artstyle and interesting mechanics, seems like it will be pretty replayable as well.
- COMBOLITE
Hit this orb with weapons to make number bigger, i love big number.
This list is done :D
I hope steam adds a way to filter out games that use AI art because holy shit i wish these didn't exist, even seeing them makes me mad.
